Jewel-Toned Half Moon Manicure

Category: Nail Adventures

My maiden endeavor used the popular purple-gold combo which didn’t turned out too bad. Here’s a 2nd(this should be counted as my 4th since I redid it 3 times!) attempt with the half moon manicure – I’d meant to use a silver base but the one on hand was of a disappointing hue. Instead I opted for a soft gold hue; the result from one layer of the following:

Admittedly the final presentation still looks far from perfect but with better practice, I’ll hopefully fare better in future ventures.

For my next nail adventure, I’m keen to try the ‘Gilded Fade‘ trend(3rd pix) – Emily Schuman chose a gorgeous combination of deep green and light gold to achieve this beautiful effect.

Which trend are you hoping to try?
