I am loving my current skincare regimen at the moment, which I hope to share next week along with several related reviews. The standout product is La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream that not only softens the skin but also leaves a luminous finish.
The Oil Absorbing Lotion, on the other hand, leaves my skin rather dry upon application. The oil-absorbing powders serve to soak up excess sebum to mattify the skin, but looks like it may have worked overtime on my already-dehydrated skin.

BASE
▷ DiorSkin Skin-Refining Pro Lighting Makeup Base [ Write-Up; Review ]
▷ DiorSkin Nude Skin-Glowing Fluid Foundation in 020 Light Beige
I’m loving this latest offering from Dior. Medium coverage with a satin-powder finish that makes the skin glow. The formula is hydrating but doesn’t seem to work cohesively with the La Mer lotion I’m using today. I’m still deliberating over purchasing this, but shall decide after using with other moisturizers. Side-Note: I’m excited to use Guerlain Parure de Lumière Foundation with swatches coming soon!
▷ Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation in Nude
Also another new release that’s now available at counters, this is the powder counterpart to my favorite fluid foundation. It’s heavier than mineral powder, and leans on the dry side. More details to come in a separate write-up.

▷ DiorSkin Nude Shimmer Instant Illuminating Powder
This limited edition powder injects some glamor to compliment the new range of Nude Skin-Glowing base makeup. This compact features a blend of pearl particles that captures light and reflects a nice glow – ain’t it pretty on the skin? To highlight, move along a C-shape along the top of your cheekbones and sweep upwards to the top of your brows. You may also apply along the bridge of your nose for definition. [ Product Write-Up ]

EYES
▷ Estée Lauder Violet Underground Eyeshadow Palette [ Swatches ]
▷ Estée Lauder Pure Color Gelée Powder Eyeshadow in Fire Sapphire [ Swatches ]
The blue shimmers wear off the darkened violet shade easily under this humidity, despite with my lids primed prior. So I layed with some cobalt blue to add some sparkles and intensity. Crease is deepened with the bronze-chocolate shade.

Brow bone is highlighted using the Brow Highlighter Powder from Benefit Brows A-Go-Go kit. How I wish they could release this as a separate entity.

Swatches – Violet+Fire Sapphire; DiorSkin Nude Shimmer
▷ Estée Lauder Pure Color Quick-Thick EyeLiner in Punker Black [ Swatches ]
Seriously loving how easy this eyeliner is, and am crossing my fingers the brand will make this permanent in the long haul. For those with oily lids, best to set with powder because it budges easily and ain’t waterproof.
▷ Blinc Mascara in Black
Wet formula and transfers easily, so try not to blink after application.

▷ Estée Lauder Pure Color Velvet Lipstick in Violet Crush
▷ Estée Lauder Pure Color Color Gloss in Rebellious Violet [ Swatches ]
Perhaps it’s just me, but I think the colors look kinda clownish during the day but absolutely wearable at night. Using the “popsicle tinted nude” technique often seen on Korean women, I applied a sheer layer of lipstick on the inner areas then a thin layer of gloss on the outer rims. The finished look isn’t obvious but it prevents the colors from appearing too harsh.

▷ Estée Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Black Turquoise [ Write-Up ]
▷ Misa Nail Lacquer in Blue Over A Boy
Lastly to sum up the theme, a mix-and-match of blue on the nails.
Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!

Perhaps you could inquire at a Dior counter near you as the BAs will provide more precise details. Nordstrom has the foundation listed but not the powder though. Hopefully you’ll be able to get one for yourself :)
