Five Color Violet Underground Eyeshadow Palette – S$80
Employing shadow with edge, this jewel-toned palette incorporates bold shades with luxe textures. The tribrid technology aka Gelée Powder Eyeshadows -created with part liquid, part powder and part gel- can be worn wet or dry for a subtle shine finish.
The case is a violet blue that befits the theme, and is also one of the featured colors in the palette. The other 4 shades is a rich mix of bronze, fuchsia, beige-peach and matte black.
The thunderbolt motifs, I believe, pay homage to David Bowie who pioneered Glam Rock in the early 70s and his 1972 track – “Ziggy Stardust.”

I predictably use the beige-peach and chocolate shades for a wearable smoky look during the day. But when the night falls, I favor the violet-blue topped with Fire Sapphire. Hopefully the gloomy weather will buzz off for me to show what I’ve done!

A deep aubergine that will add drama to your fall look. From the get go, I knew that it resembles my trusty O.P.I. Lincoln Park At Midnight Nail Lacquer – edgy, mysterious and vampish.

Yippee! Just got my palette and am loving it!! I’m thinking if getting the eyeliner too hmmm…
As I’ve mentioned, the eyeliner is extremely easy to use with build-able opacity.
Wow the palette looks very pigmented! The purple looks very pretty, looks like it’s a duochrome eyeshadow :)
The violet has a darkened base with a periwinkle sheen. Pretty nonetheless!
