The only offering from Kaia Natural, these Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths are ideal for traveling, post-gym or for individuals with a demanding schedule. Made from 100% renewable bamboo, the biodegradable cloths offer a triple action cleansing solution that removes makeup, eliminates impurities and tones the skin.
Each towelette is infused with organic Canadian honey and a blend of pure essential citrus oils – bergamot, lemon, lime, mandarin, orange and tangerine – to keep skin hydrated, fresh and balanced; oat amino acids and sunflower oil to deep-cleanse, including waterproof mascara. In addition, the product is suitable for sensitive skin, and is free of alcohol, parabens, sulphates and synthetic fragrance.
The instructions are clear and simple: use the front side of the stretchable material to rid skin of makeup and sebum, and the other side to remove eye makeup and lipstick. I wouldn’t use this as my primary makeup remover or cleanser, even if it means having to stay up for another hour after a late night out.
The sustainable cloth does a decent job in lifting surface impurities but I wonder if my pores have been thoroughly cleaned. After each session, my skin is noticeably tightened but I don’t think the toning aspect is adequate for my combination skin type.
While the brand lives up to its claims in removing stubborn mascara, eyeliner and lip stains, it still requires a mild effort of tugging. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend these disposable cloths to replace your regular cleansers and toners, especially for those who wear heavy makeup. However it’s a good option as part of a double-cleansing routine, and is convenient for people on-the-go.
