It’s unfortunate that local beauty companies often skip international summer collections based upon the assumption of Asian women and their craze for fair skin. It’s quite a contradiction really, considering Singapore’s tropical climate.
Lately I’ve been going through a bronzing phase, which initiated after purchasing Dior Shimmer Powder and complemented with nude lips. Picture Ivanka Trump who tends to be a traditionalist when it comes to all things fashion and beauty. Speaking of which, she underwent a bold change several hours ago, sporting blunt bangs at the 2012 Met Gala.
Here’s an assemble of bronzers that I’ve amassed in the last 2 years;

■ DIORSKIN Poudre Shimmer in Amber Diamond [ Product Write-Up ]

■ RMK 15th Anniversary Cheek Palette in Brown Beige [ Product Write-Up ]

■ PALGANTONG Kamayaki TerraCotta Cheek in Cappuccino Brown

Guerlain’s is the most pigmented of the bunch, whereas Revlon’s has a hint of pearlescent glow. NYC’s bronzer is a favorite among the US bloggers, not just for its affordability but also for its matte finish. Sadly it’s not available outside the States.

■ GUERLAIN Terracotta Bronzing Powder in 02

■ REVLON ColorStay Mineral Bronzer in Deep Bronze

■ NEW YORK COLOR Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny
Are you into bronzers too? If so, what are your favorites?

I love the Dior one of course, but compare it to the other bronzers in swatches, I dont see much differences. The Revlon to me looks more like a peach blush tho. I been busting out my bronzers this spring too and I enjoy wearing it alone without topping it with a blush :)
Revlon’s on the sheer side, you’ll have to see the actual product to gauge the pigment.
The Dior one looks just gorgeous. Are you picking any from the 2012 summer collections? I just love the look of the Chanel, Dior and Guerlain Pucci collections
I’m interested in the Dior Glow Powder in Aurora Sunlight but won’t have time to check it out until next week. Hopefully it won’t be sold out by then.
I like the NYC one. But some how I’ve never able to learn to put on bronzer… zzzz
The Estee Lauder video I posted is a good start to learn :)
I’ll start with that. thanks :D
