After the successful launch of Swarovski‘s debut feminine fragrance, Aura in 2011, Clarins Fragrance Group extends the fragrance and makeup jewel line with a new Bridal Collection.
The visual showcases a woman magnified with dazzling light: At the heart of a romantic, spring-like setting, a young woman gladly succumbs to the joy of being in love. She is stunning. In a lush garden, overflowing with blossoms and dappled with sunlight, she savors an intimate moment of freedom. With lace in her hair, a light white dress, her make-up jewel magnifying her skin, she voluptuously indulges in the scent of a radiant rose garden… echoing the floral and sparkling freshness of her fragrance.
As the name suggests, the ephemeral Collection Mariage focuses on the theme of weddings and inspired by the glitter and happiness of the occasion. Inheriting the style of the initial inspirational line, the metallic flacons are now tinged with a fresh, subtle shade of pink, and adorned with an exquisite floral patterned lace veil.
Light Eau de Toilette – S$100 (50 ml)
Nosed by Fabrice Pellegrin(Diptyque, L’Occitane, Thierry Mugler etc) for Firmenich, the fragrance is composed around 3 accords, imagined like essential steps to matrimony:
♥ The Loving Commitment – symbolized by lychee, a signature of the classic Aura fragrances, complemented by tea leaves; these luminous notes blend perfectly in a dazzling fruity harmony.
♥ The Promise of an Eternal Bond – evoked by a delicate bouquet of peony and lotus offered to bring luck; a floral and soothing fusion.
♥ Intense Love – conveyed by a white musk accord; the ideal partner to adorn a woman with a luminous and dazzling aura.
Upon first whiff, my mother was reminded of the HEAD OVER HEELS EDT spray under the Ultima II brand by Charles Revson, founder of Revlon Cosmetics. I think the overpowering scent smells nothing like the happiness-themed fragrance. Ideal for Spring, the sweet aroma of lychee instantly perks up my day and lasts hours on end. Even when it dries down, the fruity floral scent is still apparent with a light hint of musk.
Crystal Gloss Makeup Jewel – S$100
Ladened with a sweet aroma of tea leaves, the gloss is available in Rose Scintillant that illuminates lips with a sparkling sheen, the shimmery pink shade is enriched with micronized Swarovski crystal powder and Crystal Shine® iridescent pearls.
The soft texture is nestled in a delicate silver jewel decorated with floral motifs and topped by a unique majestic 16-millimeter crystal. The luxury accessory is housed within a pale pink origami “purse.”
Perfuming Hair Mist – S$65
A delicate mist that swathes the hair with sensual notes of bright litchi, aromatic tea leaves, and a bouquet of peony and lotus.
Prestige Collection Mariage EDT
The fragrance is also available in a Collector’s bottle, shrouded with a shining metal sheath printed with a delicate lace effect, adorned with 11 crystals. Not available in Singapore.
