*Wah Wah* Another Lower Seletar Reservoir-related entry sans Milo, but I assure you that this piece of heaven merely forms a backdrop to today’s topic. Its serenity makes an ideal getaway from civilization albeit for a few hours, to collect my thoughts and perhaps make peace with the inner self.

It is of the utmost importance to bring along skincare essentials when venturing outdoors. Sunscreens are a must; I have on Clarins UV Plus HP SPF 40 in Beige that doubles as a foundation; SKIN79 White Reviving Skin Radiance Sun Block SPF40 PA++ – I find it too greasy for the face and decided to utilize on my limbs instead; Prevage Triple Defense Shield SPF 50 PA+++ – a lightweight version of the Day Moisturizer. I definitely prefer the Hydrating Fluid which has the lightest consistency but isn’t bundled with sun-protecting properties. These 2 products will be covered in a later entry.
Other essentials that should be packed – Water to stay hydrated. I recently learned that we also lose fluid from the lungs just by breathing; Caudalie Beauty Elixir to stay refreshed; Sunglasses – not for vanity but to shield from the sun’s ultraviolet rays.

Fittingly seamlessly to the scenery is the teal from Revlon scented-polish(my 3rd!) in Ocean Breeze. Special thanks to the weather who worked in my favor despite the gloomy start this morning☆

I like the vibrant tone of this post. Hope you are feeling better :)
Thanks for your email, babe!
I’m likin’ the greens and the skie in this post. I always reapply my sunscreen all the time and it gets real greasy. What do you recommend?
I normally use the Clarins UV Plus SPF 40, then touch-up with another SPF-bundled powder.
This post is different from your previous ones, I like! Nice mixing theme with nature! :D
I love that you brought your products out for a photo shoot! Really cool! I love the Clarins UV Plus HP too. Sun protection is very important to me, I still can’t believe there are ladies who go around without sunblock and are still using tanning lotions. Sun block is a woman’s best friend.
Some of my friends seem to think that sunblock prevents them from getting tan, which makes absolutely no sense o.O
Hi, what’s the brand of your sunglasses? I hv been searching f one like yours.
Your silent reader,
Sun
Hi Sun! It’s a no-brand pair purchased in Taiwan. Sorry can’t help you there :/
We used to hang out a bit a this resevoir but it has been a long time since we’ve gone there. Back then, I was a little into yoga and thought it’s a great place to do that. But now…*koff koff*.
I don’t reapply my sunscreen at all unless I’m really out at the beach or swimming under the hot sun. But I’m all geared with internal sun protection for that purpose.
I see no ideal spot for yoga anywhere, but maybe I’m just too self-conscious haha!
