Fried Carrot Cake aka Chai tao kway 菜头粿, is available in 2 variants with cubes of radish cake mixed in with egg & sweet soy sauce, and the other simply fried with a beaten egg to form a crust. I normally mix them together, teasing my taste buds with its blend of sweet and slight saltishness. The hawker goes on to add a dash of pepper to further spike your meal.

Dumplings to accommodate my Gyozas fix.

A prelude from the Seattle crooner’s sophomore album, All Waters is a 2-minute worth of goosebumps. Been re-playing the track for the whole week and still chills me to the bones. The voice of Mike Hadreas (aka Perfume Genius) is a reminiscence of the late Jeff Buckley.

Bracelets acquired at a flea market during my Taiwanese trip 2 years ago.

Hershey’s Kisses – Cookies ‘n’ Creme

Häagen-Dazs – A rare indulgence.

DiorSkin Poudre Shimmer – An extravagant, Valentine’s Day gift to myself.

Thắng Phát (or is it Keo Dau Xop Cao Cap?) – They are bars of crumbled peanut coated with melted sugar. The vietnamese version is coated with a thicker layer of sweetness.

My Current Reads – I’d stumble upon Kevin Brockmeier during a casual browse at the now-defunct Borders back in 2006. “The Brief History of The Dead” intertwines between 2 realms, the City and Earth. The former is a sort of limbo -bearing a similarity to C.S. Lewis‘ “The Great Divorce“- where the deceased inhabits in, with their existence dependent on the memories of the living.

Diggin’ Dogs – extremely addictive that keeps me jolting from my seat whenever a dog gets bumped. DoogiPang is another game I recommend to combat stress.
