Milo: me no itchy

Category: Life Musings, Milo

Hello!

Recently Mom bought a pack of Lonicera Flower(金银花) from the medical shop for Milo to bathe in. Also known as honeysuckles, these antibiotic herbs are commonly used to treat influenza and sore throats. The flowers and leaves are full of salicylic acid (BHA) commonly used to treat acne and blemishes.

My brilliant mother decided to use it on the pooch, for its strong anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. After trying it out for a month, we’d observed Milo see less need to scratch himself… until the next trip downstairs to romp in the grass.

Mom was just complaining of the price hike this morning - for that meager amount in a clear bag now cost a dollar. It was only 50 cents last week!

Load the contents in a hand pail, and pour in boiling water. Leave it to soak until the temperature cools off and Milo is ready for a bath. Rub the herbs all over the torso and rinse off the residue before proceeding with shampoo. Milo’s grooming session isn’t finished without being doused in lemongrass sweetness! Royalty treatment, heh?

As a treat, I made french fries earlier, and opted for Extra Virgin Olive Oil to avoid any misunderstanding that I was feeding Milo greasy junk food! The main intention of this video is to show off his fleshy butt and legs. The daily turmoils of resisting temptation to barbecue him is starting to wear thin…( ゚ ∀ ゚ )

If there’s one thing that Milo is good at, it’s giving you that wide-eyed look that will melt your heart.
Shucks, it’s starting to pour over here, and Milo is snoozing away after an afternoon at the open field. I shall indulge some pampering time before starting work on a paper. Cheerios~!
