ELIZABETH ARDEN Ceramide Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules
This intensive treatment boasts of the exclusive CLX Complex that surge the restorative power of Ceramides and essential lipids to strengthen skin’s barrier against premature aging.

CLX Complex is a potent combination of ceramides, essential fatty acids and phytosphgosine,; it promotes natural ceramide production in the skin and effectively minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Overtime there will be a visible improvement in skin tone and clarity, and a boost in natural collagen levels to give the skin a firmer, resilient look.

Each box comes with 60 capsules. The one in my possession was purchased at the Airport Transit Lounge, thus mine cost at a mere S$39 which will last 30 days of usage.
First things first, I have not used the product long enough to give a review just yet this this is just a quick opinion: One capsule provides a generous dosage for the face and neck. Initially it felt oily to the touch but gradually absorbs into the skin very well without leaving a greasy feel. My skin is noticeably softer and smoother after massaging in the product. In the midst of facial massaging, I take care to emphasize on problem areas specifically my laugh lines.

Similar with the Skin Brightening Overnight Capsules from the brand’s White Glove Extreme skincare range, I use the product primarily as a moisturizer and night treatment. For those with dry or on the brink of facing dehydration like I do, please apply a hydrating serum or moisturizer beforehand to prevent any flaking occurrence. You DO NOT WANT TO WASTE any of the luxurious serums!
The Restorative Capsules have been clinically and dermatologist-tested; also fragrance, preservative and emulsifier free. It is interesting to note that the formula vaguely reminds me of olive oil, which is neither a turn off nor pleasant. On the other hand, the whitening capsules smells mildly of potato chips.

PS
You are strongly advised to store the capsules in the fridge, to prevent mold buildup. This occurs due to prolonged exposure to heat/room temperature, and will spoil the formulation overtime.

Do you think that this would suffice as a last step moisturizer for combo type skin, or is it too oily? I’m using an AHA product at night time right now to counter fine lines and texture, but looking for a light moisturizer with additional skin care benefits to top off my night routine.

The texture is lightweight, and sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. The serum is pretty potent and should suffice as a moisturizer, as advised by the staff from Elizabeth Arden when I was introduced to the Brightening Capsules.
